Park Life 2008 - some photos

What an amazing day. Almost lost for words. 

Please find below some utterly rubbish photos and even more rubbish reporting (newspaper article and my captions). 

Dunno whether the mistiness of some of these pics is due to my rubbish camera, the weather, or the sheer joy of the day.  Yes these photos are awful as 'skate journalism' but I don't care. I was too busy having a good time.

I'm not even going to put words to all of these. I'll explain a few, but mostly you can make it up for yourself.

Esp thanks to Colin Adam who destroyed himself as usual for the sake of a damn good show.

This is a  man who definitely earns his professional status, time after time. Sorry, I didn't get any shots of you... or many other folk for that matter.

BTW: We never actually managed to have anything resembling a "serious" competition, it was far too nice a day to worry about stuff like that.

There is still 'product' and THE TROPHY BOLT to hand over...  Stay tuned for details of an upcoming "Serious" (Ha!)  "proper comp."

Dont know if anyone noticed Danna's Tee she made. Its awsome. Ive asked her to make me a Frontside Ya Bass one!!
If its made and paid for by the 25th Sept it will be coming to America with me.
Im going for three weeks and wil bring back some pics with the tee in sweet landmarks over there.
Ill be heading out the weekend before the 25th aswell for a wee cheerio drinky poo if yawl are up for it. Ill be at cage :) as per usual :D

Now lights will be even harder to get because of quickly thought-up excuses like this which make genuine skatepark users look like ijits.

FYI: there is no opposition by residents, they are actually FOR lights... it makes the park safer to walk through at night.

IT'S A SIMPLE EQUATION: THERE IS NO MONEY.
